Emefor Ifeoma was convicted for offences contrary to Sections 133 of the Penal Code.
Prosecutor Ephraim Lukas told the court that the accused was arrested at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa on July 15, 2010 and arraigned alongside one Faith Ihuoma, who jumped bail.
He said Ifeoma claimed to be a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and was found to be carrying an identity card purported to have been issued by the NYSC through one faceless Obinna for N30,000.
Sergeant Lukas further stated that the accused got married and became pregnant in the course of the trial, while her alleged accomplice also got married and has a baby. He said the accomplice was re-arrested and re-admitted to bail.
Magistrate Ndukwe sentenced Ifeoma to one month imprisonment or to pay a fine of N5,000, while her alleged accomplice case was adjourned to August 3, having sought for bail.
