Ghana will play China in an international friendly in the next Fifa friendly date on August 15, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi has disclosed to Goal.com Ghana.

He said the game will be played in Beijing as part of preparations towards the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Black Stars are yet to play any major international friendly under the tutelage of coach Kwesi Appiah since he took over in April.

However, the four-time African champions have been impressive in recent times trailing Sudan in Group D on the road to Brazil 2014.

Meanwhile, Nyantakyi has also revealed that Ghana’s next Afcon qualifying game against Malawi in September will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium instead of Kumasi – the stronghold of the national team.

It is highly expected that the game will be played during the day at about 3pm.
