She wont be able to work with a tourist visa,she will have no right to housing and benefit of any kind. How long will she be helped by the people hiding her? She cant even claim asylum because it will be obvious she is lying. And if she gets caught, she will be deported and will be restricted from the UK,and other European countries. UK is the most tolerant of all the European countries. I am sure she doesn't want to go to France or Germany cos their Immigration officers and police are less humane to the British Police. She definitely still in the UK. I know she doesn't know much about the winter and UK immigration policies. My friend works with the UKBA, I call him a guy with no soul in him. The Conservative parties don't like immigrants, especially the illegible ones. With the European law, she could have some loop holes to cling on. As a lady it would be easier for her. If she could form a relationship with an EU member state citizen in UK, she will have the right to reside and can therefore apply for a EEA2 residence card and after which she can get a work permit and work.
