Following rife rumours that First Lady Mrs. Patience Jonathan may have passed on, Sahara Reporters have confirmed from close aides to the President that Mrs. Jonathan is indeed alive. President Goodluck Jonathan who arrived in Abuja, Tuesday, had fueled speculations that the First Lady may be dead, after hurriedly cutting short his official trip to Botswana by a day to visit his ailing wife in Germany .
