It is not that the little guy can beat the Teacher under normal circumstances,NO. but the teacher was very wise and he did the right thing for not retaliating or beating up the little boy, else it would have been a different ball game, trust me. The topic would have been 'School teacher (27yr old,weigh 220 pounds) beat up a 6yr old harmless school teen to coma!
The headlines would have been so horrible and there would be a street protest and the judge will not waste time to award huge damage against the teacher and the school. this is america and people will provoke you to hit them so they can sue your ass and get damages.

You can not discipline them. unlike in public schools in Nigeria where the teacher would have given him 6 strokes of the cane or given him a punishment that will calm him of all his excesses it is not possible in the USA. The Kid probably kicked him and he injured his knee. it is what it is
TRUE TALK This is not Nigeria where you just punish children and cane them in school. In America if you do such a thing they'll call it child abuse and give you jail time. It's even better that it's not "27- year old teacher beats up 6 year old child" Besides that a lot of American parents don't punish their children the way an average African parent punishes their children becuz of the belief that it's child abuse. No don't blame the teacher he did the right thing by not beating up the boy. If he had as much as raised a finger on that little brat he could have been jailed a long time for child abuse.
