You guyz got it all wrong...when u read the statement again, you will see that he is saying u should not marry outside of ur church... not only RCCG. But in my view i believe love can be found any where provided all requirement of ur taste is been met

hmmmmm..... no be small tin, well as for me, I fink people shouldnt allow pastors tell them all they should do, rather everybody should read his own bible and pray for better wife, as for the preaching, lets not judge, I feel love is all that matters as far as wedding is concerned. May God Help Us

See Ezra 9:11-12, Nehemiah 10:28-30.

On the other hand, I am not sure Pastor E A Adeboye said what was written in the paper, may be somebody out there exaggerated the whole thing, on this note I want to advise RCCG members to follow God directive because that is what will stand the test of time. Jude L

this is act of segregation and discrimination in an ecclesiastical matters!!!! please G.O tell the church the truth. dnt keep them in bondage, far from the truth that whenever they find their love one that they should welcome it in the fear of God must not be the only the members of rccg!!! church and greed, as well as selfishness!!!1!!

Why are Nigerians  allowing People to fool them at this age and at hour all in the name of Christianity ?
Since when  and where does the Bible quote that  a Pastor should take over parents role in matrimony?
Nigerians shoud watch out... for these are basically end time signs.
Churches  controlling Billions of naira,the over seers riding in extravagant luxury cars , while followers jumps from
Molue to the other ...
Churches are running most of the privarte Universities in Nigeria,yet  the poor can not benefit from such scheme , its a shame.
Where is it quoted in the Bible that financial seeds has to be sowed to get favour from GOD ?
Apart from Politics,  religious  SINS we commit is also a hindrance to our prayer in Africa,beleive  it or not..
we pray we fast we cry  but do we do this with one clean minds, ? ok where we do, are the pastors we confine in,are they HOLY ?
so by going to them, we are  comitting sins ,thereby also causing problems to our Nation.
Nigerians should know that the easiest way to EXPLOIT people now is CHRITIANITY after the fall of 419.
May God forgive all those who have lost their conscience and exploit people in his Name.

pastor Adeboye is starting to come off as a man of himself instead of a man of God. Many of what he just said here is not from the Bible but was from his own personal commandments. Non-sense.

I agree with the part he said you can't change anyone. I mean your own ex moves around tell pple that you r dating his cousin, bros or dad meanwhile he never introduced any of u. Then the listeners can't even ask if he ever introduced everybody. What if he's a prayer warrior?

Well, I think no one is perfect. So if any of the party can't cook, I think they both learn. Some lost their parents, some had suffered, some has been in orphans, some has been thru a lot, some were never opportune to learn. 1Cor 13(love letter) it says that when love comes, imperfection disappears.
For me, I don't like to iron cloths. Is either he irons his cloths or wear it like that. OK I'd learn... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

and why only girls this and girls that? sounds like islamic teaching where woman is nothing and man is excellent. and where is that cross we have to bear in life of marriage if we have everything made ready for us men by the so called girls, and which one will be ready for the girls if i may ask? i just see that man as some one whom his pocket is full and did not have anything in him to offer to the congregation that day than INSULT
