dat minute of silence is actually to remember d times d person spent on earth...and in dat period ppl r supposed to pray 4 them n d loved ones they left behind.
it's not just a minute of Silence...more like quick rememberance and short prayer.

bcoz a min is not too much or too lil ask for...just that one min is needed rembr the dead and you,wht u wld become,how or when u wld go urself...is all about the inner thoughts! ever tried yoga or meditation?? it all doesnt take long...when the mind speaks with the heart! iono how else explain,good enuf i hope!

losting it's true origin is enough to proof that it's useless and of no value to neither the dead nor the alives -so no sense in it. pray for the dead ones on your own, or if you like pray in congregation.
