VEVO is an international music video website, and Young Paperboyz will be the fourth Nigerian act to have his music uploaded on this website after the likes of D’banj, Asa and Nneka.
Vevo offers music videos from three of the “big four” major record labels: Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and EMI.Warner Music Group was initially reported to be considering hosting its content on Vevo, but subsequently formed a rival alliance with MTV Networks. (This has just changed as the two settled their beef) There are more than 45,000 videos available on Vevo.”
Young Paperboyz is a Nigerian hiphop, rnb and pop group based in Ukraine. They began their mainstream recording career in 2008 with the single ‘You Know’ which was their first song ever to receive airplay on local radio in Ukraine. In 2009, the group released their 13-track debut album “Moving”, and in 2010 they dropped another single, ‘Livin on the Edge’ featuring Quis from the ‘Lavish Life Mixtape’ which gained them recognition across the globe.
Later that year, Young Paperboyz made their first Ukraine tour with Angeliya from city to city. The group recorded a freestyle to Terry G’s Free Madness which earned them popularity in the Nigerian market and they’ve since collaborated with many A-list artistes from Nigeria.
They also released the single ‘Live it Up’ featuring Logan Chapman which became another huge hit in Ukraine and other parts of Europe.
Young Paperboyz released Naija Boss Mixatape on August 25, 2012 which got a lot of buzz and Airplay and was premiere on Spinlet platform Nigeria, its was also made available on the iTunes Store.
The duo are presently at work on a new project called Naija Boss Techno Reloaded, which is slated for release later this year 2013
