Controversial celebrity, Kim Kardashian has denounced and disclaimed a tweet in which she allegedly called Nigeria a disgusting country whose women look like apes! The reality celebrity who was recently in Nigeria for the Darey Art Alade 'Love Like a Movie' concert for which she was reportedly paid half a million dollars, who has no real claim to
celebrity status said an online prankster publicized an offensive tweet that seemed like it was written by her and wants to set the record straight.
The pregnant socialite posted messages from her Twitter account assuring her followers that she did not write the racist tweet about Nigeria.
The fake tweet stated, "Nigeria is such a disgusting country. I couldn't wait to leave. lol Scott said their women look like apes and I agree."
In response, the mom-to-be tweeted, "I see there's a photo shopped tweet floating around, supposedly I said something about Nigeria. That was NOT me, or my feelings," she wrote on Wednesday morning.
Kim K. went on to add, "That fake tweet is very disturbing & I would NEVER EVER tweet something like that."
An Internet prankster has claimed responsibility for the stunt.
In a recent interview with Extra, the 32-year-old reality star said that she and Kanye are considering giving their first child a name that starts with the letter K in unison with their own names.
"I think it would be really cute because Kanye and I are both K's, but half the names on our list aren't K's," she told Extra's Maria Menounos . "We still have time, [so we'll do] whatever feels right." Kardashian added that her rapper boyfriend, 35, "wants something that's unique."
During the interview, Kim K. also addressed the public scrutiny she's been receiving for gaining weight during her pregnancy. "There are maybe two or three covers just this week that say I am 200 pounds. I'm like, 'You are 60 pounds off here!'" she laughed. "It wouldn't even bother me if I gained all the weight. And I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love junk food. Being pregnant I don't like any of it."
