 The remains of the late publisher of Tribune Newspaper, Oluwole Awolowo, was today laid to rest at Ikenne town in Ogun State. He died on March 27, 2013 in a London Hospital at the age of 70. The service for his final departure took place at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church.

The Federal Government delegation was led by the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, accompanied by other presidential aides and ministers including Reuben Abati, Oronto Douglas, Jumoke Akinjide and Gbenga Ashiru. A lot of present and past Governors were also present. He is survived by his aged mother, wife and children.
