Officials of the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) yesterday arrested about 183 suspected hoodlums in Oshodi and Mafoluku.
The task force officials also demolished an abandoned toilet allegedly used as hideouts and where unsuspecting girls are usually raped by the hoodlums.
Among those arrested are 19 females, including two pregnant under-aged girls and three nursing mothers.
According to officials of the task force, 46 of the hoodlums had been arrested and jailed in the past.
It was gathered that men of the task force stormed the areas as early as 1.00am with a Black Maria to arrest the suspected hoodlums and moved them to the task force headquarters in Alausa.
