How can you be patriotic if you can't recite the pledge and the national anthem of your country?

If patriotism stems solely from knowing the national amthem and pledge, Nigeria would not be in the dire problems we are now!  Being patriotic begins with thinking about what u can do for your country and not what your country can do for you.

Here you go:

I pledge allegiance to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands:
one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.
