Man beats wife to death

Igbemo-Ekiti community in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State has been thrown into confusion following the invasion of the area by police who are there to arrest a man who allegedly killed his wife.

It was gathered that the man, Mr. Adewale Daramola, popularly known as Wasco, after beating his wife to death on Monday, buried her and fled the area.

The state police command’s spokesman, Victor Babayemi, confirmed the incident, but added that he was yet to get details. Daily Trust gathered that the woman, aged 38, had three children. 

It was gathered that the police from Iworoko police station moved to the area to search for the man.
