Actually find out more of Dr Iya Abubakar of the famous Ahmadu Bello University. One of the few mathematical juggenauts of those days

Give the boy a break, that's why he's in school. Last time I checked, people go to school to learn something/get better at something that they aren't knowledgeable about yet. He is learning; he is practicing. He will obviously make mistakes. We all faced this exact situation when we were his age, so quit acting like y'all are any better. Like calling every southerner Igbo/ Yoruba whats up with that?Of course Professor Ishaya Audu is a christian Hausa, And even though there are over 80 ethnic groups in Adamawa state where the mathematical genius of Professor Iya Abubakar hailed from, He is more Hausa Culturally that he is Igbo or Yoruba . I am from Ikare akoko , from Ijebu ilishan , from Ado - Ekiti , Does that makes me any less yoruba than anyone from the Spiritual City of Ile - ife , the ancestral home of yorubas ? NO ! My question is to this poster . who seemed to ridicule the Hausa's ad dumb heads when it comes to Mathematical reasoning . We have at least one distinguished mathematician in that group . and a hero for Many . Not many become a professor of Mathematics at the tender age of 28 as Iya Abubakar did .
