Barr. Mike Ozekhome, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), abducted about three weeks again has been freed by his abductors.
In a telephone conversation with The Nigerian Observer Crime Correspondent in Benin City, Barr. Mike Ozekhome said he was released at about 7am today (Thursday), after which he immediately took the available flight to Lagos.
The legal luminary who had grown a beard, wept on sighting his children and relatives.
It was, however, not clear if ransom was paid before his release. A source close to his family, who pleaded anonymity, said N20 million was paid for his freedom.
