A funeral is not a place to eat jollof rice or feast

How strange is it in this country that funeral ceremonies have become an occasion where people make merry and celebrate instead of mourning the dead. In fact, it's very suprising that the feasting part is more than the mourning part. The point has been defeated.
A funeral should be taken more seriously; you come bury the dead on black on black, do the dust to dust, ashes to ashes, say your prayers, shed  some hot tears and go home, instead all the sideshows and extracurriculars taking over these days...
