Ekaette............meaning father's mother. usually given by a man who feels his daughter (baby girl) symbolises his mother.usually a girls name but I have come across a MALE Ekaette and I want to think the father also felt the boy symbolises his mother.Maybe in an all male household.who knows! Some people spell the name with one S  and some with double S like me.The short form?Eka................meaning mother.Trust my friends...............some call me A KITE!
