We love watching films and we appreciate the tremendous growth of the Nigerian film industry over the years, we now have fantastic crop of actors and scores of exceptional movies are being churned out regularly. We quite understand that so much efforts are being put into movie productions; from getting the right actors to fit in the role, logistics and all.

However, inspite of the progress of the industry, some certain flaws have continued to remain. These issues keep recurring because little or no attention have been paid to them. Candidly, the Yoruba section of the Nigerian movie industry is the major culprit here. And when I say major culprit, they effortlessly have my 80% share.

One annoying thing about Nigeria soaps is that they are so predictable!

They make little use of "extras." A production that covers near 3 hours - has about 6 actors/actresses in it.

The "effects"  used are what you would expect to see in a school play. I watched one scene where a plane crash was enacted - OMG - it was laughable. Or is it whete they portray scenes in slow motion - the sctors sctually have to move slowly to get the scene shot. Or the hospital scenes where the wards  devoid of anything medical.

The acting is another issue!
