The Bauchi State Police command has commenced investigation into the case of a 42-year-old man, Mr James Dantayi, who is an assistant headmaster of Jibril Aminu Primary School, Bauchi for allegedly molesting a nine-year-old pupil of the school inside the compound.
“The victim who is a pupil of Jibril Aminu Primary school was raped by their assistant headmaster after school hours. When the girl got home, her parents became suspicious of their daughter’s disposition and decided to investigate it."
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP, Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, in Bauchi on Tuesday, said when the police received the complaint of a rape incident in the school, it investigated the matter by visiting the school and the suspect arrested.
A security source confirmed that the girl was a primary three pupil. According to the source, “After interrogation, they discovered that she was raped by the assistant headmaster.”
I hear the headmaster is begin for forgiveness from the girl's parent. Sad!
