Boko Haram Attacks Bama Army Barracks In Borno State, Women And Children Killed

A group of Boko Haram militants in the early hours of today attacked the 202 Army Battalion Barracks located in Bama, about 40 kilometers outside Maiduguri town, and killed several women and children.

The Islamic sect, according to a source in the barracks, struck around 3am local time, firing heavy arms and ammunition.

Our source, a soldier, said that troops of the Nigerian Army and Air Force repelled the sect using fierce air and ground attacks, resulting in the killing of many of the terrorists.

He explained that some soldiers in the barracks lost their wives, children and relatives in the fight, which lasted until about 7am, during which time the sound of explosives and guns filled the air.

According to him, accurate details of actual casualties are unavailable, and there is tension and confusion within the military.

Dis in fact is insane..how can a group of bandit attach a well train barrack, if the barrack is not safe den it means dat only God is watching over house..if they can protect their barrack how den wil d soldiers protect it citizen? Lapses in Security in nigeria Is terrible

Na waooo, Which way is this Country going, well if Democracy can't work then let the military take over so that all this will stop. can you imagine the terrorist going to barrack is this news? I believe the Goverment knows what is going on, and there know them self is only the poor that is feeling the impart of the whole matter, there own children and there family are under tieth security but the innocent ones are dieing everyday what are pity, so upon the money their are budget for security, yet the Country is not save. May God deliver us. May their soul rest in piece. Please tell the people in Government to save this Nation before is too late.
