Star Actor, Saidi Balogun: Blazing The Trail At 47


If you run into award-winning actor Saidi Balogun,chances are you will think he is just 40. Guess what? He is 47 today! The light-complexioned actor has many things going for him,but of all these,his many achievements have put him on the map as one of the best actors in this part of the world. Saidi shot to limelight with his role as Walata in Ologbo Dudu. Since then, he has featured in over 150 blockbuster movies.

As he celebrates his 47th birthday today,plans are in top gear to celebrate him in Lagos with his close friends and associates warming up for the grand party. For those not in the know, the multi-talented Kwara-born thespian is an actor, director, producer and musician. Having studied Statistics, his passion for acting has made him relevant in the English and Yoruba sectors of Nollywood. His most recent work is You or I, a two-cast movie featuring an all-white cast.



Fathia Balogun Turns 45 Today!



Award-winning actress Fathia Balogun is 45 years old today, but she is still quite the ‘ ‘fabulous movie gal’. Though plans for her big day are still in the wraps, there are indications her close friends in the movie industry will be coming together to celebrate her. Born to a Delta State father and Anambra State mother, Fathia Balogun has, over the years, done very well for herself in the movie industry with a career spanning over 20 years with lead roles in over 100 award-winning movies.The gorgeous actress, who had most of her education in Lagos State, speaks Yoruba, Urhobo and English languages fluently. She is a graduate of the Kwara state polytechnic. Some of her movies include Asiri Owo (The Secret of Wealth), Critical Condition, Iriri mi (My Experience), Agbara Ife (The Power of Love), Inu Obinrin (The Heart of a Woman), and Okun Ife (The Cord of Love).
