As religious organisations are not left out of medial revolution, a 2013 Social Media Report by Alder Consulting, a creative online intelligence firm, has ranked the Redeem Christian Church of God as number one in its faith category.
According to the report, the RCCG, headed by Pastor E. A Adeboye beat the Daystar Christian Centre and the Elevation Church to emerge as the leading religious organisation that is “effectively” using social media to reach its audience.
Also, the report ranked RCCG’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who has a combined online following of 1,823,846 on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google+, as the cleric with the most prolific use of social media.
According to the report, the RCCG beat the Daystar Christian Centre and the Elevation Church to emerge as the leading religious organisation that is “effectively” using social media to reach its audience.
