Reuben Abati, the spokesperson for President Jonathan has released a statement on the killing of students in Yobe state today Tuesday 25th February 2014 by members of the Boko Haram sect.
According to the statement, the commander-in-chief is saddened by the situation and assures an increase in security for the nation.
The attack targeted at the Federal College, Buni Yadi, Yobe, went down at 2 AM. Explosives were reportedly hurled into student residential buildings; the gunmen targeted male students and spared female students.
Over 43 bodies are in the mortuary.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has received with immense sadness and anguish, news of the callous and senseless murder by terrorists of scores of students at a college in Yobe State in the early hours of today.
On behalf of himself and the Federal Government, President Jonathan extends heartfelt condolences to the parents and relatives of the murdered students.
The President wholly condemns the heinous, brutal and mindless killing of the guiltless students by deranged terrorists and fanatics who have clearly lost all human morality and descended to bestiality.
He assures the nation that his administration will not relent in its ongoing efforts to end the scourge of terrorism in parts of the country which has sadly claimed more innocent lives today.
The Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security agencies will continue to prosecute the war against terror with full vigour, diligence and determination until the dark cloud of mass murder and destruction of lives and property is permanently removed from our horizon.

This is the same assurance he assured us of after other brutal murders committed by Boko Haram - still the Islamic insurgents rule the streets of the north. When will his "speeches" become a reality and our fellow Nigerians in the north feel free from this gang of blood spilling dogs?

GEJ is Boko Haram, and Boko Haram is GEJ. They keep on killing people while he keep on repeating the same false promises. They (Boko Haram and GEJ) keep on doing the same thing repeatedly. God is watching them and they will give account of what they have done. The blood of the innocents killed will never give them rest. God will punish whoever has hand in this madness.

Its very sad that our Govt. Keep saying things will be done soon, so these group called BH can overpower the Nigerian Army am very sure there is more to this the people invovled knows them selves and the reason for it. But one thing is for sure thou it may tarry for every blood of the innocent God will surely punish who ever is behind all the killings...
