Some 11 bodies were recovered after a boat capsized last night in Lagos according to emergency rescue officials.
According to Saharareporters, a boat carrying 15 passengers reportedly capsized opposite 41 Road in Festac around 11: 30 PM Nigeria time. Inversely, the Eagle Online reports disclose to us that, no fewer than 20 persons were killed in a boat mishap in Lagos State on Tuesday.
A distress call was sent to the Navy and the National Emergency management Agency asking for rescue. NEMA sources told SaharaReporters that 11 bodies have been recovered so far. The search and rescue operations continue.
Common sense is indeed not common.

As a matter of fact, that is another area the government have to look into, maybe include swimming into school extra curriculum. like seriously how many Nigerians can survive in a boat misshape imagine 11 out of 15 people or 20 people as the case maybe dying in that body of water, if those people can swim they would have been able to manage till help can reach them or even swim to safety, and the emergency service who knows how long it took them to reach there. My sympathy to the dead and heart felt condolence to the families, relatives and friends.

Is there any effective government in Nigeria? Nothing works in Nigeria unfortunately.
