ASUP Strike: Polytechnic Students Shut Down Lagos (PHOTOS)

Apparently tired of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, students under the aegis of Polytechnics Students of Nigerian, Monday morning assembled at the University of Lagos junction to protest Federal government’s inability to end the impasse.

The visibly angry protesters were seen displaying different placards with inscriptions; “spend money on education sector not national conference, “education is our right, not a privileged,” FG, we are tired of staying at home,” et al.

The protest, which lasted for hours, DailyPost gathered caused heavy gridlock along Yaba road.

Members of ASUP have vowed to remain on strike unless the Federal Government meets its demands.
