President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will on Friday, 28th March, 2014, declare open the Silver Jubilee (25th) Enugu International Trade Fair.
The Fair which has as its theme “Increasing the Competitiveness of Nigerian Products in the Global Market” is to attract over 350 participants and about 1million visitors from within and outside the country.
Arrangement for the successful hosting of the event is being concluded as the Permanent Site of the Enugu International Trade Fair Complex is wearing a new look with facilities being updated.
According Emeka Okereke, the Director General of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, the organizers of the event, the Fair will be a major landmark in the annals of the Enugu International Trade Fair as the quality and number of participants that have indicated interest to participate is high.
He stated that adequate security measures has been put in place to ensure a hitch free event, noting that Enugu State remains one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria where business and tourism activities go on unhindered into the nights.
