According to Jonathan, even though the Supreme Court had upheld the result, still when he traveled abroad, he was asked embarrassing questions, because the election was presumed not fair.
At that time the current country leader promised to himself that if he had the chance to oversee elections in Nigeria, "no other President or Vice President should suffer that can kind of harassment by the international community".
"That is why the 2011 elections, even though I was candidate, I said nobody should manipulate elections for me."
Recalling that the results of 2011 elections were accepted both by local and international observers, Jonathan pledged that 2015 elections will be even better
