As the death toll from the bomb blast that hit the Nyanya motor park, Abuja on Monday increases, forensic investigators from the United States of America, yesterday arrived Nigeria to join local security operatives in conducting investigations.
It was gathered that the forensic investigators are from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
When journalists visited the scene, more than 100 heavily armed security agents were seen condoning off the area. The joint team of security agents included the Department of State Service (DSS), the police, army, civil defence and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
An unnamed army officer who confided in journalist said the forensic investigators arrived Abuja yesterday morning and were immediately conveyed to the scene of the carnage.
“Few investigators from the United States arrived Abuja yesterday morning to join us in Nigeria to carry out a forensic investigation on what happened. Many of them are black, so you might not recognise them. It is a joint operation. That means all the security agencies are involved,” the army officer said.
The forensic investigators were seen picking up samples and other vital tools at the scene of the blast.
Just over the bridge, more than 500 onlookers who abandoned their work stormed the area to catch a glimpse of what the security agents were doing.
Common sense is indeed not common.

i think that those on united state of America will us to divide the country,because,dining with devil is risk,,Hausa's are the devil in Nigeria,all of them are the boko haramist.so let the USA security help us to divide the country so that there will be peace.

But does it mean we can't handle our issues in dis country witout inviting external intelligence? If only d FG can sponsor our military abroad,dey'll come back & train others on ground in dis country & we won't hve 2 waste money like dis. But of course corruptn has blocked their brains & we'll continue 2 waste d country's resources. Thez FBI will be lodged in d best hotels plus dey'll be well paid. And anytime d country faces anoda attack,there'll be a repeat of money wasted. Dis is wot I call penny wise,pound foolish.God help us.
