2015: Violating campaign restriction with impunity
A toothless bulldog, they say, is far preferable to that which has a complete set of teeth and cannot bite. This aphorism best describes the actions and inactions of the Nigeria’s electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, under the watch of Professor Attahiru Jega, whereby some ten months to the 2015 general elections, both the ruling and major opposition political parties have embarked on campaigns, in disguise, though.

Anti-terror: Still a battle with little result
The Nigerian Armed forces and indeed, the Federal Government, appear to have failed in their promises to end the Boko Haram insurgency, even as the Sect has continued to stamp its authority by making good its threats and wreaking havoc continuously in the country to the shock of the security forces.

Fulani herdsmen: Rearing cattle in combat gear

In the past, clashes involving Fulani herdsmen and aborigines in the former’s graze-lands had always been isolated cases, requiring mere police intervention and government appeal for truce. But that is no longer the case, as incursions by the Fulani herdsmen are now usually carried out with the fierceness of insurgency. How come these herdsmen are now using sophisticated weapons to fight their causes? What are their grievances, and who are the likely backers of these annoyed citizens? Tayo Adelaja, Head, Special Investigations, resolves the riddle

Like a thief in the night, Fulani herdsmen last month invaded Anyiin community, the hometown of Governor Gabriel Suswam in Benue State, killing, maiming and like in time past, sacking the community dwellers who fled for dear life.

The missing 234 chibok girls now 276.i have been pondering over this kidnap situation and somethings don't add up hence these questions.the students are said to be sss3 students writing physics examination.QUESTION 1.why are their names not published by the school, state and government and also WAEC?2.why are their pictures not over the news media?3.how come all 235 students came to write physics examination when the total number of students in th whole school is around 1200?4.it was announced that the borno state government n1m each to parents of the missing girls.if that's true, why was the money given to the parents?was it as compensation for the kidnap or compensation for their deaths?on Tuesday 29th April 2014,the senator in the senate said the girls has been taken out of the country to Chad, Niger and Cameroun and married off to their adoptors.how come the senators know so much?who are their informants?why is the wife of the state government organising women to pressure FG in Abuja after the national security council has ordered the armed forces to use all state resources so secure the release of the adopted girls.what about the girls that escaped, where are they?where are the school authorities?who is fooling who?its time we start askig questions than drawing conclusions.
Profound questions. Makes too much sense for most of the members here.  if you notice, not many, if any, gave any comment to the questions. Not even an acknowledgement that these are really good questions. They are too busy abusing and insulting each other. We rather point fingers to other tribes. Southerners will blame Northerners, and the Northerners blame the Southerners while Igbo s blame everybody else. Some ignoramus cry for the division of Nigeria. Biafra and all kinds of nonsense. Tribalism is the cancer slowly killing Nigeria. We need good schools that will teach positive  fundamental human values. Schools that will teach about the evil of racism and tribalism. Nigeria may be doomed if we dont recognize that our real enemy is our own mentality towards each other.

U guys dont know the kind of humans that live in that country,, u guys think that only Mr president rules a country,, all hands must be on desk b4 a country will be ok.
Thank you brother, most of the people that comment here are actually clueless and just say stuffs without tinking.they tink the president can stop Terrorism and like u said can their fathers stop it?No neither can they themselves.truth is the north will do anytin so that GEJ won't contest 2015 elections hence this kidnappings and Bombings.wat u guys that know is that the president was going on wit campaign amidst the chaos to show to the sponsors that their plans to stop him and turn Nigerians against him will not work.Lamido Sanusi is a major Sponsor.even tho the judge been a northerner after been pressured by the powers that be said Sanusi was wrongfully indicted.my brothers weda Ibo,yoruba, hausa or South South let's come together and fight against this crop of corrupt politicians playing politics wit innocent lives.God Bless Nigeria

PLEASE READ!!! THE MISSING 234 CHIBOK GIRLS NOW 276.I have been pondering over this kidnap situation and something doesn't add up hence these questions. The students are said to be SSS3 students writing physics examination. QUESTIONS:1. Why are their names not yet published by the school, state government and WAEC?2. Why are their pictures not over the news media?3. How come all 235 students are in SSS3 and all came to write physics examination when the total number of students in the whole school is around 1200?4. It was announced that the Borno states government gave N1m each to parents of the missing girls. If that’s true:QUESTION: 4.Why was these money given to these parents? Was it as compensation for the kidnap or compensation for their deaths?5. On Tuesday 29th April 2014, the Senator from Borno said in the Senate that the girls had been taken out of the country to Chad, Niger and Cameroon and married off to their adopters. QUESTIONS: How come these senators know so much? Who are their informants? 6. Why is the wife of the state governor organizing women to pressure FG in Abuja after the National Security Council has ordered the armed forces to use all state resources to secure the release of the adopted Girls? 7. I just wonder how 200+ girls can be kidnapped at once without killing and no teachers affected. How come we haven't seen those girls who they said have escaped on TV? 8. If the SS3 students are not up to 120 in a school of 1200, how is it possible 234 girls are missing? 9. Where are the school authorities? 10. Why haven't we seen any of them on TV. We are not fools. WHO IS FOOLING WHO? I need objective answers please. Its time all Nigerians start asking questions than drawing conclusions. THEM DAY FOOL THER FARDAAAAAA
