Boko Haram Storm Station: Policemen Escape Without Arms

Policemen attached to Sumaila LGA Divisional Police Station on Thursday night took to their heels and left their arms and ammunitions behind, as suspected Boko Haram members stormed the station. AIG Yabo who was visibly frustrated, could not control his anger as journalists tried to ask him about the attack.
Although, there was no immediate report of death following the almost half an hour exchange of gun fire between the police and the suspected Boko Haram members, Leadership reporter who was at Sumaila, as the AIG Zone 1, Muhammad Tambari Yabo received and led the House of Reps member, for Takai/Sumaila, Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, to the scene from the airport, observed that the divisional police station was riddled with bullets.
