Two prominent contenders of the upcoming Ekiti State Governorship election, incumbent Governor Kayode Fayemi and former Governor Ayo Fayose decided to show the people of Ekiti some love by sharing cooked and uncooked rice. Pictured above is Governor Fayemi and his wife sharing cooked jollof rice to elderly people in the state while another shows an Ekiti State University student smiling with a bag of rice from Ayo Fayose.

"WHEN WILL NIGERIANS EVER LEARN AND WHY CAN'T NIGERIANS SEE THAT THIS EXERCISE IS NOTHING LESS THAN A POLITICAL DECEIT? THIS IS JUST A WAY OF GETTING INTO PEOPLES' SUBCONSCIOUS MINDS TO BUY THEIR VOTES. WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SO IGNORANT IN THIS DAY AND AGE? THESE POLITICIANS ARE EVIL AND SELFISH.
THE WHOLE SCENARIO IS A FRAUD, FAKE AND DECEIT. AFTER SHARING THESE BAGS OF RICE, WHAT NEXT? THEY WILL ONLY TURN THEIR BACKS ON YOU AFTER USING YOU TO WIN THE ELECTIONS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR VOTES TO GET INTO GOVERNMENTAL TOP POSITIONS AND STEAL MONIES TO ENRICH THEMSELVES AND STILL LEAVE YOU IN POVERTY, CONFUSION AND REGRETS"

See as them dey share rice like where red cross or UN dey share food as a result of famine in one of those poorest african nations that can't feed themselves.

this is were the free and fair election start to fail, those sets of people that are indulging in this kind act, to me they ve criminal intention,if someone really want to be voted for and serve the people right,he or she ll not get this in mind at the first place by sharing mere cooked rice to the people, for what?who has good intention ll only come plainly with good mind and campaign to the people to support him or her ,then after having the vote just go there and serve the people right and provide to them what they re socially lacking, any way its still a pity that at this age people are still that easy to deceive.
