Hey for me nothing is wrong for my girl asking me to marry her  personally i will understand it that she luv me so much that dont wanna lose me i will feel flattered and smile happily for that    both of you in a relationship has equal Right  to ask for anything real luv there should be pure friendship and freedom  with each other no much reservation for one another....go ahead ask him whatever if he love u   he will surely be happy to hear that

Bros, get your head out of the 19th century and get into the 21st Century. I thought they said something about equality. That means Men and Women are more or less in the same footing so Most things are no more gender-restricted I think that should include who 'pops the question'. However, in Nigeria, we will continue to retard ourselves with such restrictions as to who should do what. If we wanted such restrictions, we should have allowed people still be wearing those bogus crinoline skirts that are up to 6 feet wide 'to keep men' at the proper distance.
