Man Goes Home Early To Watch World Cup, Catches Wife And House Help Nakid In Bed

A 28-year-old fried keow teow seller slashed and seriously wounded his 32-year-old wife and 19-year-old stall helper with a parang after discovering the duo nakid in the same room in his rented house.

The incident occurred at about 2am Wednesday, at a house rented by the suspect in Kampung Langgar near here.

The suspect and his family moved into the house about a week ago.

He had extended his business hours till about 3am or 4am since the World Cup began, but was have believed to have gone home earlier to watch the match between Brazil and Mexico, which started at 3am.

The 28-year-old suspect surrendered to the nearest police station after slashing the two victims.


The suspect's wife sustained serious cuts on her left thigh and the stall helper's left hand was almost severed in the incident.

Both were admitted to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital here.

The suspect was remanded for seven days until June 24 to facilitate investigations and the case is being investigated under Section 326 of Penal Code.
