Police Rescue 9 Year Old Girl From Her Abductors

The Lagos state Police Command today July 10th presented 9 year old Blessing (pictured above) who they rescued from being sold by a three female child trafficking syndicate in Lagos.

Lagos state Police Commissioner Umaru Abubakar Manko while presenting the little girl to newsmen at the Ikeja Headquarters of the command said she was abducted from her parents about 3 years ago and has been sold to different people where she has served as a maid.

….a fellow human being sold and re-sold again and again like a commodity?
Animals would not do that.

I am glad this beautiful girl was rescued.
I can only imagine what she’s been through.

I love dis girls, she is pretty and bold, u need to see d way she was asking the women questions, pls by now her parents should come and collect their child, if no one comes to claim her from her relatives, the government should pls help her, she is a blessed child. Iyabo God bless u.
