Christian to Have his Lips Burnt by Cigarette for Eating During Ramadan in Iran

A Christian man in Iran was sentenced to have his lips burnt with a cigarette for eating during the day in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The shocking punishment carried out in public in the city of Kermanshah after he received 70 lashes alongside five other Muslim men for not fasting during Ramadan.The punishment was confirmed by the city’s deputy governor Ali Ashraf Karami.The National Council of Resistance of Iran, denounced the treatment as ‘savage’ and called on western countries to take action.
“The silence of the world community, especially of western countries, vis-à-vis these medieval punishments under the excuse of having nuclear talks with Iran has intensified the brutal and systematic violation of human rights in Iran.”

I stopped believing in this kind of scandal long ago which is obviously targeted towards creating more division between christians and muslims. You got me read it though. So, congratulations.
