Famous Actor, Bob Manuel Declares His Political Ambitions For Anambra Assembly

Seems like a lot of Nollywood actor & music artistes are vying for political office come 2015!

We have had Desmond Elliot, Kate Henshaw, Julius Agwu, 9ice and a few others declare their intention to run for political office and now veteran actor Bob Manuel Udokwu is also throwing his hat in the ring!



Udokwu who is currently the senior Special Adviser on Nollywood & Entertainment affairs to The Anambra State Governor, yesterday September 3rd declared his intention to run for a seat at the Anambra State of Assembly come 2015.

He hasn’t revealed what political party he will be contesting under though!

He said at the press conference,

    I have formally declared interest to vie for a political position in the 2015 general elections into Anambra State House of Assembly to represent Idemili North Constituency. This move is to help develop and transform the state in line with the vision of the present administration. Also, to help develop Idemili North area and make it the constituency to beat in the state.
