capture1 There was serious tension at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki today following a suspected case of Ebola virus infection.
The trouble started when a doctor told his colleagues that an Ebola patient has been admitted in the hospital.
The false alarm led doctors, nurses and patients to scamper out of the hospital premises.
“As we speak I have left the hospital and there is serious tension and panic there. Though, we are yet to confirm the report, but I believe it is not Ebola,” – One of the doctors told our reporters over the phone.
