There are indications that reconciliation moves are on course between the President of Christ Embassy, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Rev. Anita who have been in the news in the past week over the divorce proceedings the latter filed. The decree nissi, with suit number FD14D01650, was filed on 9th April 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn in London by Anita’s lawyers, Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors. Gistmania reports that, to have a divorce in the UK, both parties must have a marriage that is legally recognised in the UK, and have a permanent home in England or Wales. Getting a decree nissi, there are 5 grounds: adultery; unreasonable behaviour; desertion; 2 years’ separation; and 5 years’ separation. In the case of Rev. Chris, adultery wasn’t cited but the decree nissi was reportedly served to him during a recent visit to the UK. According to the Family Law in UK, decree nissi is a document that says that the court doesn’t see any reason why you can’t divorce. This is usually applied for if one’s husband or wife doesn’t defend a divorce petition. After 6 weeks, the applicant can apply for a ‘decree absolute’ to end the marriage. The decree absolute is the legal document that ends a marriage, and the applicant needs to wait at least 6 weeks after the date of the decree nisi before applying for a decree absolute. This delay gives a chance to discuss finances and other issues (between the couple) before the marriage comes to an end

This report says "in the case of Rev Chris, adultery was not cited" However most of you on this website had already rained fire and brimstone on Rev Chris over the allegation of adultery which was reported in the previous news. People, this is a good lesson to all, do not be quick to judge lest you be judged yourself. Will you all now ask for forgiveness from God? Always remember that God is watching and he will one day judge the affairs of all men. A word is enough for the wise.

It is my prayers that pride will not becloud the eyes of Pastor & Pastor (Mrs) Oyakhilome to take this opportunity of a life
time to put the enemy to shame. Two of you have laboured to take the gospel beyond shores of Nigeria. Please a lot of
people believe in your ministries. Do not disappoint them and above all, do not disappoint God. I wish you two a blissful
reunion again.

My advice for people is to stop relating to the news coming from the press, so that they don't offend God with the words of their mouths.Judge not his prophet. There is God oooo!!!
