Following the renewed crisis that erupted in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital, the State government has slammed a dusk to dawn curfew on it.

Making this known to newsmen on Monday, Yakubu Lamai, the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor said that the curfew will be between the hours of 6p.m. and 6a.m.

According to Daily, the renewed violence broke out in Lafia Monday after rival youth groups clashed.

It was gathered that the crisis paralyzedthe economic activities as shops owners closed for the day.

Reports say the youth were on revenge mission over the recent raid on the palace of the Emir of Lafia, Isah Mustapha Agwai I, by youth suspected to be Eggon on Sunday.

That incident led to the death of two people.
