Russians Denies Ownership Of Plane Carrying Military Ammunitions To Nigeria (Page 2)

I just dont know what to say to this matter.. As far as I am concerned, the flight was actually going to CHAD but they were still going to transport all those weapons by land to Nigeria.. we know surely those weapons are coming to Nigeria to the Boko Haram or so.. May God help is in this country, the next move will be that there won't be any news published about this again and few months later it will be reveal that it has been handed back to the owner. We the Civilian/Nigeria will talk and talk, they dont take us a bit important, Nigeria is shared among the top members of the society. It is no swear our country has a long way to go. God should put us through.

Corrupt Govt in Nigerian will accept million dollars bribe from Russian Govt case closed, the Ammunition will be giving to Boko haram to continue their killings, its very clear that they use Chad Govt to transport the weapons into Nigerian in the name of that the plane develop fault.

What does this has to do with America. Naija government seized a Russian military made plane, laundering weapons to Chad believed to be home of BH. Naija government seized the plane and raised the alarm concerning the situation. Of course the Russian government denied any involvement in this case, what else do u expect? . So how is this an American propaganda if the case was in Nigeria and it was the Nigerian government who raised the news?... Even if some people fail their WAEC exam they will surely hold America responsible for their failure. By the way which good relationship with Nigeria and Russia are you talking about, or maybe u mean the Niggaz pipeline deal that will never be built till Jesus come?.

France has admitted ownership of the cargo plane that was impounded by military authorities at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, last Saturday.

It said that the flight was covered by a diplomatic clearance given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, noting that the Autonov 124 Russian commercial plane was forced to land at the Kano airport because of dense air traffic at Ndjamena airport,Chad.

A statement from the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Jacques Champagne de Labriolle, on Sunday, stated that the Antonov plane had to divert to an alternate international airport and the  closest airport facility being Kano, the Russian crew decided to fly there, to refuel, and to take off again to reach Njamena Airport.

He denied that the plane was carrying arms and ammunition, stressing that it was conveying two light Gazelle helicopters, spare parts and maintenance items belonging to the French Army.

Labriolle further explained that due to the nationality of the aircraft, and the nature of the cargo, airport authorities in Kano, decided to check the flight plan, the clearance and the cargo manifest before authorizing the plane to leave.

He said that official information has been supplied by the French Embassy in Nigeria, noting that the federal and airport authorities, being satisfied with the documents and the genuine character of the flight, have announced that the plane will be authorized to pursue its flight to Ndjamena.

The envoy stated  that the French Armed Forces had on December 6, 2014, chartered the flight on the Russian commercial company “224 Flight Unit,” to ship two light helicopters from Bangui to Ndjamena.
