From performances by local artistes who gave the people an idea of what to expect from the guest artistes to Gordons’ manner of entertaining them with jokes while hosting the event and Klint De Drunk who gave the audience a proper introduction of himself, the event would linger in the memory of several Makurdi residents for a while.
Oritsefemi thrilled the audience with songs from his album including the street anthem, ‘Double Wahala’ while D’banj gave the audience several reasons to dance and sing along by performing songs from his old albums and keeping them interested in an energetic hour-long performance as Banky W entertained with his several hits to add unending colour to the event. When it was the turn of 2Baba, who is not only a son of the soil but also an iconic musician recognised all over Africa and beyond, taking the audience to the high point of the night was done in an almost effortless manner.
The event was organised by DREAMS Pointer International, to give the people of Benue State to a Christmas to remember.
