Meet The 15 Governorship Candidates In Lagos As Released By INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC); the electoral body set up to oversee elections in Nigeria has unveiled the names of 15 candidates jostling for the gubernatorial seat of Lagos State in the 2015 elections.

The display is in accordance with the provision of the Electoral Act as amended. The biggest contenders however remain; Akinwunmi Ambode - Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Olujimi Agbaje - Governorship candidate for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Meet the Candidates.

(1) Ayodele Akele - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Dr Akinlade Babafemi. National Conscience Party (NCP)

(2) Pauline Adegbe - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Olamide Oguntoyinbo Progressives Peoples' Alliance (PPA)

(3) Aregbesola Ishola - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Omolola Olorunnishola. The Action Alliance (AA)

(4) Godwin Mayor - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Ugochukwu Ekwebelem. Allied Congress Party of Nigeria. (ACPN)

(5) Akinwunmi Ambode - Governorship Candidate. Running Mate- Aderanti Adebule. All Progressives Congress (APC)

(6) Olujimi Agbaje - Governorship candidate. Running Mate- Safirat Abdukareem. Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP)

(7) Victor Adeniji - Governorship candidate. Running Mate - Funmilayo Davidson. Kowa Party (KP)

( Olatunde Olusesan - Governorship candidate. Running Mate - Mrs Abiodun Shuaib. New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP)

(9) Ademola Razaq - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Folawiyo Adebayo. Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD)

(10) Kayode Jacobs - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Mr Akeem Suberu. Mega Progressive Peoples Party (MPPP).

(11) Festus Igbinoba - Governorship candidate. Running mate- Kanu Urji. United Progressive Party (UPP)

(12) Akin Badmus - Governorship candidate. Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM)

(13) Olurotimi Olulana - Governorship candidate. Labour Party, LP.

(14) Omoshola Lawal - Running mate candidate Independent Democrat (ID)

(15) Edwin Izuchukwu - Running mate. All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)
