Just in time for Valentine with the atmosphere getting tensed, the thoughts of loving and sharing has filled our minds and believe you me I always worry over what to get Bae every year.
The good thing this year is that i have spoken to the chairman and some other members of the reasonable Boyfriends Association and i have discovered that there are certain items that they do not want to get for valentine.
Apparently every other valentine, some ladies give out gifts with the mindset “It’s the thought that counts” without knowing that it somehow wasn’t appreciated because 21st century guys actually do not believe in that saying. Nowadays, guys want to be able to brag about their gifts too, social media even made everything worse because they want to post up pictures of what they got for valentine.
This year there should be a BIG difference and that’s why I’m here to help with some of those items Guys don’t want to get as valentine’s gift.
BYC Boxers and Singlet
Why most ladies think that BYC singlet and boxer is a perfect valentines gift still remains a mystery. I know ladies want to cater to their Man’s needs especially their underwear but please there are a thousand other underwear brands like Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, Hanes, H&M etc to pick from. Preferably ladies, I suggest you leave the guys to sort out their underwear game.
Valentine Cards
Don’t get me wrong, I love the very sweet messages on some valentine cards but sadly enough a text message or BBM message might create same effect hence rendering the card useless. Ladies, you want to know the truth? Most guys do not even open the cards when they get them so there is really no reason to include a card in your gift bag this year.
212 Perfume and Cool Water Perfume
This has remained a Nigeria girl thing but the Guys want it to go away. Please ladies there are so many other perfume and body spray brands other than cool water and 212. By the way, some guys are of the opinion that giving out a body spray implies they have body odor and you don’t want to leave such impact so just stay away from such gift items.
Fruit Cake
Not every guy hates fruit cake but most guys definitely do not want to get that as a gift on valentine day. My boss once said if he gets fruit cake, it would end up with his gate man. Now imagine where that fruit cake you gift you boyfriend on val’s day might end up? Maybe the trash can.

Yes you read right. A condom dispenser is one of the perfect gift for all safe-sex lovers. The good thing is that this gift is of help to both of you because you know when you are running out of condoms and refill.
