Boko Haram militants are currently attacking Kano state, Nigeria, according to the BBC Hausa service.

They reportedly invaded Kibiya, a Local Government Area of Kano State, Saturday evening.

This is coming after their attack on Gombe Saturday morning was repelled by troops.

Six weeks is optimistic, we will see what the Nigeria Military are capable of containing the Boko Haram.

why are you all pointing fingers on the president, what measure did the affected state govt make to curtail the jihadist do you people knw how much a state governor collect as security vote, you can't blame everytin on FG what was the state govt doing while the terrorist were entering their state we need to forget about politics and stand as one we can't let some old men who have had their time cause us wahala what did obasanjo do as president let him tell us where is the NIPP FUND.

if u say so what were south south governors doing when mend was formed/ do u know that a state governor has no control over a police corporal? only the president has absolute control over all security apparatus
