A Federal Government delegation led by Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo represented the country at Gambia’s 50th Independence anniversary celebrations. Other members of the delegation included the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Gabriel Suswam, and the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwumi Adeshina. Also in attendance were Nollywood stars like Patience Ozokwor, Chinedu Ikedieze, Segun Arinze, Kanayo. O. Kanayo, Chief Chika Okpala (Zebrudaya), Monalisa Chinda, Francis Duru and others.

Former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo also graced the occasion, which held at the Independence Stadium in Banjul the Gambian capital.
According to people who attended the event, Obasanjo sat next to Sambo at the ceremony and other than greeting him when he sat down, Obasanjo didn’t say a word to the vice president throughout the ceremony. Nollywood stars reportedly ignored him as no one went to greet him.

Obasanjo's recent anticedent may not portray him in good light considering his position in our dear Nigeria, but they should have known better that BABA is becoming a child as expected of old age, we must not judge Obasanjo now by his actions and inactions, i also blame the press for not considering this natural fact before airing whatever he does or says, God bless Nigeria.

Whether most of you accept or not, putting all sentiments aside, OBJ is the best Nigerian president in recent past.
