Woman Bites Off Neighbour’s Ear

A housewife, Mrs. Peace Edet, has been arrested by the police for biting off the ear of her neighbour, Mrs. Sola Olanrewaju.

Mrs. Edet, a mother of five, who lives at 3, Taiwo Oni Street, New Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos, had a misunderstanding with her neighbour, Mrs. Olanrewaju, which resulted in a fight. During the scuffle, she allegedly bit off the victim’s right ear.

The matter was reported at the Oko-Oba Police Station and the suspect was arrested.

Shortly before her arrest, Mrs. Edet, whose husband works with Skye Bank as a dispatch rider, said she did not know that the complainant’s ear was so soft and did not intend to cut it off.

The complainant was rushed to a nearby private hospital where the ear was stitched back.

When P.M.NEWS called at the Oko-Oba Police Station, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Supol Omole Ola, declined to comment on the matter.
