The fourth floor of the Word of Life Bible Church’s guest house otherwise known asEagle Nest Guest House belonging to the National President of the Christian Associationof Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, was torched by fire on Sunday afternoon.



The building is located near the church auditorium at Ajamimogha, Warri, Delta State.

It took the combined efforts of the men of the Delta State Fire Service, fire service men of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and that of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to put out the engulfing inferno.

It was gathered that the fire started at about 12:55p.m just after the second service of the church was wup.

In a statement signed by the head of the church media team, Pastor Victor Abraham and posted in the official Facebook account of the church, there was no record of casualty.
