We Would've Remained In PDP & Become Richer But Decided To Leave To Save Nigeria

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has explained why he and his colleagues decided to dump the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC. Tambuwal explained that they would have remained in PDP and become richer but decided to leave the party in order to save Nigeria. He also stated that a vote for PDP will perpetuate indignity and undermine the self-worth of every Nigerian. A statement issued by his spokesman, Malam Imam Imam, said Tambuwal made the remarks on Sunday night when he addressed a Town Hall meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Tsafe Emirate, Zamfara State.

According to the Speaker, since 1999, the PDP had proven to be incapable of governing the country in an effective manner, adding that for Nigerians to regain their dignity and self-worth, they must join hands to vote out the party from power. “Many patriotic Nigerians who felt the need to change the course of our country have protested the inept administrative style visited on this country. They made their voices known by abandoning the PDP and teaming up with progressive-minded Nigerians.

“Remaining in the PDP would have been the easy option for us. We would have been richer and would have been enjoying the benefits of being in the same political camp with the Federal Government. But we chose a different option because we felt enough is enough. We felt Nigeria deserves better leadership that is why we are in the APC. “So a vote for PDP would be undignified. We must re-discover our self-worth as a people, we must move the country forward,”

the Speaker added.

Speaking at the event attended by traditional rulers and other interest groups at the Emirate, Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, commended Tambuwal and the House of Representatives for their patriotic stand on issues, and assured the people of Tsafe Emirate of his commitment to provide quality representation when elected for a second term in the coming election.

is it not the same people that re in PDP the ruling party since 1999, are running to join APC so that power will change to APC and they will continue ruling from that angle again? the sugary things is dat  all of you should remain in PDP and vote APC in, so that you people will not bring idea to the table of APC government.
bcos once you people dcamp to APC, is still the same people ruling from 1999 under the umbrella of PDP will still be ruling  with the broom of APC.

In as much as I know neither PDP  nor APC can change Nigeria for now, but APC can be worst than PDP cos they are greedy set of people who were not satisfied with the amount of money they get from PDP from our resources,  they felt cheated and now want to play saints. Armed robbers better pass una.

i like this forum because in as much as so many persons had been brainwashed with these decievers to think that they mean well for Nigeria, God keep exposing their flaws, is it not obvious that our so called agents of change comprises of all the power seekers and looters frustrated out of PDP, Okorocha, Amaechi, Atiku, Kwankwaso and so many others including Tanbuwa himself who left PDP because there was no room for him to contest for the seat of presidency. Greedy fools, Nigerians are wise now, the reason they are fighting Jonathan was not because he did not perform but because he did not relinquish power to the North, i pity foolish, greedy and selfish Amaechi, posterity will never forgive him for conspiring against his own because he had wished to be vice president. God is watching

They are all thieves but lets try another option if it will work. l dont trust anyone of the them in both parties.
A FOOL does same thing all the time and except a different result. This has been my philosophy about this election.
