In what could be described as unprecedented in sixteen years, Senate President David Mark has lost the Senate Seat in Adoka, Ugboju constituency of Benue State.

Mark was defeated by the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC with 48,191 votes against the PDP’a 31,731 votes

This will be the first time in 16 years Mr. Mark will be roundly defeated.
