Buhari Takes The Lead in the Polls in Jigawa State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari has beat President Goodluck Jonathan by a rather comfortable margin.
Declaring the presidential election result, the returning officer – Professor James Ayatsa – who is the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Katsina, announced that General Buhari scored 885, 988 while President Goodluck Jonathan scored 143, 904 votes. Similarly, the APC won all the three senatorial seats contested in last Saturday general election in Jigawa state.
